FUN, FUN, FUN is our motto for the weekend. W e will be having a very special birthday party to celebrate half a century of MINI. We look back at 50 years of MINI history and look forward to another 50.

Throughout the weekend there will be a host of things to keep all the family amused at each of our dealerships.

Our Guildford dealership present a mix of past and present - a traditional duke box playing a mix of old and new, classic films and a cocktail bar! Plus face painting for the children (and for all those adults young at heart!). Everyone who purchases a new car during the weekend will receive a voucher for a tailored casual shirt from Room Ten, worth over £100. Purchase a used car and receive a £25 MINI Stuff voucher.

At our Gatwick & Redhill dealerships you will be treated to a family fun theme with a mix of activities for adults and children – have a go on our bouncy castle, try and hook-a-duck for a prize, or score some goals with our penalty shot out. Everyone who purchases a new or used car during the weekend will be entered into a draw for one lucky winner to win a MINI Experience Day. For every test drive booked during the weekend we will donate £5 to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Congratulations to 7 year old Samuel Le Marquard who was the winner of our Spot the Difference prize draw in our last newsletter. Samuel successfully spotted the 5 differences between the two MINIs and was lucky enough to win a new RED Nintendo DS.

MINI 50 MAYFAIR



It first made its debut in 1982 and it is back for a limited time. Marking its special anniversary credentials the Mayfair offers a choice of Midnight Black, Pepper White or, new Hot Chocolate paintwork with unique toffee-coloured bonnet stripes. This is our favourite - the bonnet stripes look fantastic with the retro toffee-coloured leather interior. The classically styled seats look divine with their contrasting dark green stitching. The dashboard is a mix of high gloss black and, exclusive toffee pinstripes, echoed on the exterior wing mirrors. 17” Infinite Stream white alloy wheels make sure the MINI 50 Mayfair is fully suited and booted.




MINI 50 CAMDEN



Into the future of MINI design using colour, trims and finishes with a strong contemporary feel. Exclusive White Silver, Midnight Black or Horizon Blue paintwork is complemented by striking 17” White Shield alloy wheels. Inside you’ll enter a sleek, monochrome world of black and white cloth/leather seats, with high gloss white and co-ordinating pinstripes that can also be found on the exterior wing mirrors. A Harmon Kardon sound system and Bi-Xenon headlights with black reflectors complete the hi-tech visionary feel of the MINI Camden.



Both of these birthday models are available as Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S hatchbacks and are filled with super-smart MINIMALISM technology that reduces CO2 emissions and improves fuel efficiency. Both cars also have a 50th anniversary badge sitting pride of place on the front grille.

MINIs BIG COFFEE MORNING – 25 SEPTEMBER

As part of Macmillan’s nationwide campaign, the world’s biggest coffee morning, on Friday 25 September we invite you to join us any time, any dealership for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake to help raise funds for the fantastic people at Macmillan.

One in three of us will have cancer and two million of us are living with it today. The money we raise will make a real difference. £184 could fund a Macmillan nurse for one day and just £1 will ensure one more person receives leaflets giving them information about cancer and where they can get support. Please join us on 25 September and help us make your coffee count for Macmillan Cancer Support.

It goes without saying that our staff are all revved up and raring to get into their kitchens, to don their chefs hat and have a go at baking. But we always like a bit of help. If you are a whizz in the kitchen and would like to support us by donating a cake, we would love to hear from you. Just give us a call.

FANCY A CONVOY TO BRANDS HATCH

If you ever fancied driving your car around a real racing circuit then this could be the event for you. Leaving from each dealership, we will head off in convoy towards Brands Hatch, all dealership convoys meeting up along the way, making a real statement to other envious drivers. Arriving at Brands Hatch you will take your car onto the track and test it to your hearts content. Back in convoy we will head back to the dealership for a BBQ.
